Withdrawal fees
Stake AUS fees
Stake does not charge fees to withdraw funds to your local bank account. There is a minimum withdrawal amount of A$1.
FX and optional speed fees may apply if you are transferring in-app to your Stake Wall St account. Please check out our pricing PDF for a detailed breakdown of our fees.
Successful withdrawals from your Stake AUS account to your external nominated bank account should typically settle within 1-2 business days.
Stake Wall St fees
Your withdrawal request should typically take two business days to arrive in your Australian bank account. The minimum amount you can withdraw is US$10.
If you have queries on your withdrawal status after four business days, please reach out to the Stake support team here.
FX and speed fees can apply when withdrawing from your Stake Wall St account or transferring funds between accounts. Please check out our pricing PDF for a detailed breakdown of our fees.
You have two speed options when transferring currency-to-currency (AUD and USD) between your Stake AUS and Stake Wall St accounts (where an FX conversion is required):
Regular: funds are credited to your Wall St or AUS balance at T+1 after Stake receives confirmation of an initiated transfer (as buying power)
FastFunds: funds are instantly credited (as buying power) to your account after Stake receives confirmation of an initiated transfer. Please note there is a 0.5% surcharge for this method.
Available funds & reserved cash
Only funds that show as ‘Available for withdrawal’ can be withdrawn. This means that you won't be able to withdraw funds that are reserved for:
- Pending buy orders (i.e. any active order you have to buy stocks)
- Unsettled funds from a deposit or share sale (sell orders)
