How Stake Accumulate works

Target return

Distributions equal to the RBA cash rate + 2% p.a. (after all fees and expenses). Currently 5.85% p.a.

Strategy

The fund aims to reach its target return by implementing an active portfolio management approach to capture yield and capitalise on inefficiencies across global fixed income and credit markets.

Investments

Fixed income securities (such as cash), debt instruments (like government and corporate bonds) and private credit. The fund may use derivatives, short selling and leverage for hedging purposes or to increase investment exposure.

Minimum investment

A$500 to start, A$10 to top up.

Your earnings are calculated daily (each business day). Every month, by default, they’re reinvested in the fund and compound over time. If you choose to turn off automatic reinvestment, your monthly distribution will instead be paid to your AUD balance. For all the details, please read our Product Disclosure Statement.

Accumulate FAQs

The minimum initial investment amount for Stake Accumulate is A$500. For subsequent investments, the minimum is just A$10.

The target return represents the earnings Stake Accumulate aims to provide investors via distributions (after all fees and expenses). Stake Accumulate targets the RBA cash rate plus 2% per annum – which currently means 5.85% p.a. This is not guaranteed, but our product is designed to target consistent returns with the Limited Income Buffer. Read the PDS for more.

Stake Accumulate has a management fee of 0.51% p.a (inclusive of GST, less any RITC or ITC), of the net asset value of the fund, plus recoverable expenses (which are capped at 0.36% p.a). Transaction costs also apply.

Your target return is calculated after the fund’s fees, expenses and costs are paid from the assets of the fund. The fees are reflected in the fund’s unit price, but your target return remains 2% above the RBA cash rate. Read the PDS for more.

The RBA cash rate is the interest rate set by the Reserve Bank of Australia, which influences the overall interest rate environment in the country. It’s reviewed eight times a year. You can always check the current rate here.

To redeem or withdraw from the fund, investors must select to ‘transfer out’ via the Stake Accumulate screen. Transfers completed by 11:59pm on any business day will receive the price applicable for that day, otherwise these will be processed the following business day at 11:59pm. Your money will be available as buying power in approximately one business day. Settlement will usually take T+3 (three business days), unless exceptional circumstances arise where your ability to redeem from the fund may be restricted. There are no withdrawal or exit fees. See the PDS for more details.
