As a former commsec user, I love how easy the app is to navigate and with ASX now available switching between markets is easy.
I've never written an App review before, but Stake really has continued to wow me.
I started using Stake for US trading, and recently (very easily) transferred my ASX portfolio across to utilise the cheap trades.
Switched from nabtrade. Much better experience. Far cheaper.
A well designed and easy to use app to trade on the USA and AUS markets.
Get inspired to invest with Stake
Share trading with Stake is quick and easy. First, download our stock trading app. You’ll need some I.D. to create your account. When you’re set up, you’ll have the choice of Stake AUS and Stake Wall St to buy ASX stocks or U.S. stocks, respectively. Choose one or both, and deposit funds into your wallet to begin investing. Search for a specific security or check out our Markets screen.
It costs nothing to download the Stake app, create a stock trading account and browse the markets. For investors looking for advanced trading features, we offer Stake Black as a premium membership for a fee.
You can head over to the Stake blog to read about the latest investment trends, upcoming IPOs and companies that we put Under the Spotlight. However, you should always do your own research and make your own decisions. Consider getting advice from a licensed financial advisor before investing.
The minimum deposit amount is A$50. When it’s time to trade, the ASX requires a minimum investment of $500 (excluding brokerage) when you buy a specific stock for the very first time; once you already hold shares in a company, there’s no minimum purchase size to invest more. On Wall St, Stake offers fractional shares so you can invest as little as US$10, even if a single share would cost more than that.
