Stake's revenue streams
Stake’s revenue comes from:
- Brokerage fees on ASX and U.S. shares
- FX fees on transfers into or out of USD
- Optional deposit fees like FastFunds Funding or Card Funding
- Stake Black membership fees
- Stake Super fees covering full SMSF set-up administration (learn more)
- Net interest earned on held cash
All transfers into your account, trade settlements, dividends and other corporate action-related distributions are held in your account balance until you make a trade, transfer or withdrawal.
Our broker partner purchases DAGXX, a money market fund administered by Bank of New York Mellon. The holdings in this fund are rebalanced as your cash balance moves up and down, which you'll see displayed on your Monthly Account Statement.
With every transaction on Stake, you'll see any charges before you confirm. You can learn more about our AU pricing here.
