New Payments Platform (NPP)
What is the New Payments Platform (NPP)?
The New Payments Platform (NPP) is an infrastructure upgrade that has changed the way money is sent across Australia. The NPP enables real-time clearing and settlement of transactions, which means that you can send money almost instantly.
Services like PayID and Osko are popular examples of NPP instruments that banks and financial institutions have adopted to enable real-time clearing of deposits.
Please keep in mind that some banks will verify an initial payment to a new account for 24 hours. To check if your bank supports NPP deposits, click here.
If you have further questions regarding the deposit, you can get in touch with our support team here.
