<p>Transactional information can be easily accessed and downloaded from Stake through Account Summary Reports. These reports are emailed in PDF or Excel format and cover all of your transactions, orders and more during your chosen period. <br><br>You can generate and download the reports of:</p>

<li>All financial transactions in your brokerage account with Monthly account statements</li>
<li>All executed orders with Trade confirmations</li>

<h3 id="h_01HGWAXJMJQJGQWA2BVK5TR0HT"><span style="color: #434343;">How does my profit and loss work in the Extended Hours? </span></h3>
<p>You can see your Extended Hours profit &amp; loss data in real-time with the Holdings view, as well as checking the share detail page of the ticker you’re trading.<br><br>You can toggle Extended Hours profit &amp; loss data visibility on and off with the moon/sunrise icon. When it is greyed out, you’ll see figures related to regular market sessions only.</p>

Extended Hours reports

<p>To enable Extended Hours trading, simply go onto the order pad and either: </p>
<ul>
<li>Tap ‘Get started’ in the information box; or </li>
<li>Tap the new badge on the bottom left; or </li>
<li>Tap the Extended Hours toggle on the order screen</li>

<p>You’ll then need to accept the Extended Hours risk disclosures. Choose your saved preference and you’re all sorted. <br><br></p>
<h3 id="h_01HGWAZZ1BWDDV3F9V4SCR9F9D"><span style="color: #434343;">Are there any new features with the Extended Hours release? </span></h3>
<p>Yes, Stake has created many different features to better your experience while trading in the regular and Extended Hours. You will see a session tracker on the top left of your screen which lets you know what session is currently active. <br><br>You can also tap this to expand it. You’ll see how long is left in the current session, session times in your time zone, and other useful information, like relevant public holidays and early closes. <br><br>Sometimes there are early closes that force the Extended Hours session to stop early, for example, if the market closes at 1 pm, the after-hours session will start then and go until 5 pm instead of 8 pm (EST/EDT).<br><br></p>
<h3 id="h_01HGWAZZ1BTVZRFADVWMG9XH67"><span style="color: #434343;">What does clicking on the moon or sunrise do? </span></h3>
<p>Interacting with the moon or sunrise icon changes the pricing to reflect Extended Hours movements. When toggled on, you can see what a stock’s live price is in that pre-market (sunrise) or after-hours (moon) session. <br><br></p>
<h3 id="h_01HGWAZZ1BHZ00BX36CSF2VRJQ"><span style="color: #434343;">Can I save my preference and have the Extended Hours order toggle always on? </span></h3>
<p>Yes, you’ll see a pop-up once you complete your first Extended Hours order. It will ask if you always want the toggle on for applicable market and limit orders. Just ‘Set as default’ to apply this. You can change this at any time by going to your settings. <br><br></p>
<h3 id="h_01HGWAZZ1B6C2R40899G4EGJZG"><span style="color: #434343;">Can I turn off Extended Hours pricing? </span></h3>
<p>Yes, this can be toggled on and off at any time when interacting with the calendar status bar, sunrise, and moon icons, or otherwise changed in your app settings.</p>

<p>To make your order eligible to be executed in the Extended Hours, simply follow these steps: </p>

<li>Search and select the stock you want to purchase </li>
<li>On the order pad, enable the Extended Hours toggle at the bottom</li>
<li>Read and Accept the terms and conditions if you haven’t already done so</li>
<li>Click review and submit the order</li>

<p>By enabling Extended Hours, you’re making your order eligible to be executed in two additional sessions. If your order conditions are met during market hours, your order will be executed during market hours just like a regular trade during the market session.<br><br>If your order is not executed during Extended Hours trading, it can then still be executed during regular trading hours provided that the conditions of the order are met. <br><br></p>

<p>Limit orders are available for all stocks during Extended Hours trading, in addition to regular market hours. <br><br>Market orders are available for approximately 1,000 stocks that have higher trading volumes and liquidity. <br><br></p>
<h4 id="h_01HGWASYVHJG924MEKNAWPPY8K"><span style="color: #666666;">What kind of expiry can I use with Extended Hours orders?</span></h4>
<p>Using the Extended Hours toggle, your order works the same way as a regular order. <br><br>For market orders, all orders are good for that day and cancelled at the end of the Extended Hours session in the event of remaining unexecuted or partially filled. <br><br>For limit orders, if you’d prefer to submit a good-til-cancelled order, you can choose a 30 or 90-day expiry.<br><br></p>
<h3 id="h_01HGWASYVH191MHR4EN09G1JRD"><span style="color: #434343;">What if I don’t want my order executed during Extended Hours? </span></h3>
<p>You are not required to use this feature. If you don’t want your order to be executed during pre-market or after hours, simply leave the Extended Hours toggle off at the time of placing your order. |<br><br>If you have Extended Hours toggled off when you place an order outside of regular market hours, that order will simply be queued for the following regular market hours session (9:30am - 4pm ET).<br><br></p>

<p>There is a $150,000 order limit for market buy and sell orders with the Extended Hours toggle. <br><br>Limit orders with the Extended Hours toggle have the same maximum limit as limit orders without the Extended Hours toggle. This limit is $1,500,000 in order size and 20,000 quantity of shares maximum per order. <br><br></p>

<p>During pre-market and after hours trading, your limit order may not fill as there is lower volume and wider spreads in the Extended Hours compared to regular hours. </p>

<p>Extended Hours trading brings Stake investors unique opportunities to bolster their strategies and capitalise on timing advantages. This feature allows you to react more quickly to developments that may occur outside of market hours, such as earnings reports or major news. This brings you closer to Wall St at different times of the day and can help you make moves in sync with the market. <br><br>There are also risks involved in trading in these sessions. Compared to regular market hours, there may be a reduced number of buyers and sellers. This leads to a lower level of liquidity which can have unexpected outcomes, such as slower order execution times, wider price spreads and increased price volatility.<br><br>These issues can be accentuated when price-sensitive updates are released outside of regular hours, as participants rush to trade before the market opens to capitalise on the timing advantage. Most trades may be placed by large institutions (rather than retail investors) using these sessions to consolidate positions or trade on emerging news. This can increase price volatility, as high-volume trades are exercised in a lower liquidity environment. You may get a less favourable price when using Extended Hours trading.<br><br>The likelihood of these drawbacks having an impact on your Extended Hours trades is ultimately a result of market variables, and out of Stake’s control.
