Brokerage fees cover the costs/commissions associated with executing a trade on behalf of investors – a process that can include a number of entities, systems and partners besides the broker. As a standard practice across share markets, brokerage fees are often expressed as a percentage of the value of a trade, as a flat fee, or a combination of the two.

Our only fee per trade is our brokerage fee: $3 brokerage for trades up to $30,000, or 0.01% on trades above $30,000. There's no FX fee per trade, only for Stake Wall St deposits and withdrawals.

On Stake Wall St, U.S. shares transferred from another broker via ACATS (Automated Customer Account Transfer Service) also won't incur any fees from Stake. U.S. shares transferred in via DTC (Depository Trust Company) or DRS (Direct Registration System) will be charged US$35–55 per position, but this fee is 100% rebated by Stake for transfers over a minimum value. See details and exact charges here. Keep in mind your existing broker may charge fees to transfer shares out.

We do not charge any inactivity fees, holding fees or account management fees on your Stake wallet.
