iOS Watchlist Widget
See how your favourite stocks are tracking – right from your home screen. The Stake watchlist widget makes it easy to monitor daily performance at a glance.
You can:
Sort by biggest movers, most up or most down
Toggle between watchlists
Switch how you view price changes – by percentage or dollar value
To get started:
Update your app and iOS – Make sure your Stake app and device are both up to date.
Enter edit mode – Tap and hold an empty area of your home screen until your apps begin to jiggle.
Add a widget – Tap the ‘+’ icon in the top-left corner.
Find Stake – Search for or scroll down to the Stake widget.
Choose a size – Pick from three available sizes, then tap ‘Add Widget’.
Customise:
Tap and hold the widget
Tap ‘Edit Widget’
Adjust the following settings:
Watchlist – Select from your custom watchlists created in the Stake app. If nothing appears, open the app and create one under the Watch tab.
-
Sort by – Choose how stocks are displayed:
Biggest movers – Largest daily movements (up or down)
Most up – Largest daily gains
Most down – Largest daily losses
None – Follows your custom watchlist order
Price change – Display changes as a percentage or dollar value
Want multiple iOS watchlists?
You can use Apple’s Widget Stack feature to view more than one watchlist:
Add your first Stake widget and set it to one watchlist
Add a second Stake widget with a different watchlist
Tap and hold the second widget, then drag it on top of the first
You can now swipe between them
For more on using widgets, check out Apple’s support article here.
