Financial year summary

The financial year summary contains a comprehensive view of transactions within your Stake account. This summary is made available at the end of each financial year when downloading the full report pack.

 

Portfolio valuation statement 

The portfolio valuation contains a summary of the market value of your equity holdings on Stake.

 

Investment activity statement 

This statement contains a summary of trades, brokerage & fees, and settlement dates. It also contains the opening and closing units for each position.

Opening and closing units are the number of units held in a position at the start and end of the statement period respectively. The closing units are calculated by taking the opening units, plus buy units, minus sell units, plus/minus corporate actions affecting units. However corporate actions affecting units are not included in this statement. Accordingly, the individual buy and sell units displayed in this statement don’t provide a running balance of units.

 

Investment income statement 

This statement contains a summary of dividend activity.

Dividend information is based on estimates only. Non-U.S. residents with a completed W-8 BEN (or W9 for U.S. tax residents) tax form are generally subject to a 15% withholding tax on dividend payments, or 30% without a lodged tax form.

We recommend that you consult with a qualified tax adviser or accountant for tax advice.

 

Other transactions statement 

This statement contains a summary of share transfers and corporate actions.

Manually processed share transfers are not included. The corporate actions section only includes corporate actions information in respect of U.S. holdings.

 

Cash transaction statement 

This statement contains a summary of cash transactions. It includes a list of transactions alongside a running balance for the account over the period.
