Ambition Report: Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to the ‘Ambition Project’ Competition (the Competition). By participating in the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (T&Cs), which are in addition to Stake’s Terms and Conditions. The Competition allows one participant to win AU$10,000 by making a post on Instagram that clearly defines their ambition.
Promoter
The promoter is Stakeshop Pty Ltd (ACN 610105505), C/O BDO, Level 11, 1 Margaret Street, Sydney, 2000, New South Wales, Australia.
Promotional Period
The promotional period is from 12:01 AEDT Friday 21 November 2025 to 11:59PM AEDT Friday 13 March 2026.
Eligibility
To be eligible to enter the Competition, you must be an Australian resident and over 18 years of age.
Officers, contractors, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporates, or of its agencies or contractors involved with this Competition are not eligible to enter the Competition.
How to Enter
During the Promotional Period, the entrant must:
Create a post or story on Instagram clearly articulating your ambition and the conviction to achieve it, and
Tag the official Stake account @hellostake in the post or story.
One entry is permitted per person.
Winning Criteria
The Competition is a game of skill. The Stake Marketing Team will select the winner from entrants that meet the eligibility criteria, follow each of the steps to enter the Competition correctly and best meet the winning criteria. To fairly review all entrants and select a worthy winner, entrants’ content will be judged on the below winning criteria:
Conviction & Clarity: Does the post clearly define an ambition and demonstrate genuine, compelling conviction and purpose? Is the goal specific? Does the entry align with the Stake Onwards spirit of backing yourself and moving with purpose?
Stake shall determine the winner in its sole discretion and shall not enter into any correspondence in respect of its decision. Stake may require you to submit additional information in order to determine the winner.
By entering this Competition, you agree that if you are the winner you must participate in Stake content in the future which may include either or both of the following (or a reasonable variation of them):
Winner Interview (Initial Follow-Up)
Format: A recorded or written interview (in-person or virtual, depending on location and logistics).
Purpose: Further elaboration of the ambition and how you plan to utilise the AU$10,000 prize.
The Ambition Update (Mid/End-of-Year Check-in)
Format: A recorded or written interview (in-person or virtual, depending on location and logistics).
Purpose: A 6-to-12-month check-in to show the progress made on the ambition since receiving the AU$10,000 prize.
The Prize
The prize is AU$10,000.
The potential winner will be notified via Direct Message (DM) from @hellostake on Instagram within seven (7) days of the end of the Promotional Period.
The potential winner must respond to the notification and confirm their eligibility within 72 hours or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of age, identity and residential address to ensure they comply with the eligibility criteria.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.
The winner is solely responsible for any applicable tax liabilities or consequences that may arise from receiving or using the prize. Winners should seek independent financial advice.
Rights & Licensing
By entering the Competition, the participant grants Stake a perpetual, royalty-free, license to repost, share, and use their entry content (including their name and likeness) across all digital and promotional channels for promotional and marketing purposes.
Entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
No Affiliation
By participating in this Competition, you agree to release Instagram from any responsibility in respect of this Competition. You also acknowledge that the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram.
No Advice
This Competition does not constitute financial advice, nor a recommendation to invest in certain financial products. We recommend that you do your own research and consider your own financial needs, objectives and circumstances before making any investment decisions.
Limitation of Liability
Stake will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage, whether or not arising from any person’s negligence or willful misconduct, in connection with this Competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be lawfully excluded, in which case that liability is limited to the extent legally permissible.
General
Severability
If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Suspension and Termination
Stake may suspend or terminate the Competition or a user’s ability to participate in the Competition at any time for any reason. We reserve the right to review and investigate all activities related to the Competition, and to suspend accounts.
Stake reserves the right to disqualify any entry which, in its opinion can be considered objectionable, profane, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory, or any entrant whose entry is not compliant with these terms or who has, in the opinion of Stake, engaged in conduct in entering the Competition which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Competition and/or Stake. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition.
Jurisdiction
These T&Cs are to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales.
Updates to these T&Cs
We can update these Competition T&Cs at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Stake website and applications which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Competition after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
