Stake Wall St Rewards Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (Wall St Rewards T&Cs) apply to the Stake rewards program (Stake Rewards) provided by Stakeshop Pty Ltd (Australia and New Zealand) (Stake).
By participating in Stake Rewards, you agree to be bound by these Wall St Rewards T&Cs, which are in addition to the Stake Terms & Conditions.
Stake Users on the Stake Wall St platform are able to earn certain rewards as set out in these Wall St Rewards T&Cs (a Reward). The types of Rewards are set out below.
Referral Rewards
Stake Rewards allows existing, registered Stake Wall St users with an individual account (Stake User) to earn promotional rewards by referring new customers to Stake Wall St (Wall St Referral Reward).
This section of the Wall St Rewards T&Cs specifically concerns Stake Users who are doing the referring (Referrers). For terms that apply to Referred Person(s), see section titled ‘First Funding Rewards' below.
Eligibility Criteria
In order for a Referrer to qualify for a Wall St Referral Reward, a new customer who has not yet created a Stake account (Referred Person) must meet all of the following criteria:
- Enter the Referrer’s unique referral code when signing up to Stake Wall St;
- Create a valid Stake Wall St account (in the same jurisdiction as the Referrer) that complies with the Stake Terms and Conditions; and
- The referred person funds their Stake Wall St account directly through the Stake platform using a qualified funding method (Qualified Funding);
(a Referral).
The Referred Person must not be the same person as the Referrer or another existing Stake customer.
Reward Details
Each Stake Rewards promotion may differ between Australia and New Zealand. Stake may configure the reward values, weighted probability distribution, eligible securities (Eligible Securities), eligibility criteria, start and end dates and claim period for each promotion and jurisdiction (Program Configuration).
The referral invitation, promotion offer or accompanying promotional material (Promotion Details) may set out the applicable Program Configuration. The Promotion Details form part of these Wall St Rewards T&Cs. Unless expressly stated otherwise, each eligible customer will receive one Reward value selected at random in accordance with weighted probabilities (Reward Value). Reward Values may not have an equal likelihood of being selected.
The customer does not choose the Reward Value, but may select a security from a configured list of Eligible Securities against which to redeem it. The list of Eligible Securities is in no way a recommendation or financial advice by Stake. The list of Eligible Securities and Reward Values may be updated, changed or altered without prior notice at any time at Stake’s discretion.
The Reward Value will be expressed in AUD for Australian customers and NZD for New Zealand customers. At execution, the Reward Value will be converted to USD at the prevailing exchange rate as determined by Stake. The amount of USD and quantity acquired may vary due to exchange rate and market price movements, execution timing, or other relevant factors. A Reward Value cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash.
Qualified Funding
A Qualified Funding is a deposit (funding) of at least $50 AUD (Australia) or $50 NZD (New Zealand), whichever is applicable, by the Referred Person into their individual Stake Wall St brokerage account within the Stake platform (i.e. not outside of the Stake platform).
Allocation of Referral Rewards
For free stock rewards, the Referrer must claim the Reward before it will be issued. Once a Referrer has validly claimed a Reward, Stake will issue the Reward as soon as reasonably practicable.
Sharing Referral Links
Stake encourages the responsible sharing and distribution of your referral code, but Stake is not responsible or accountable for any adverse action by any third-party or third-party platform where you may share it.
Multiple Referrals
A Referred Person may only use one referral link. If a Referred Person receives referral links from multiple Stake Users, only the referral link actually used by the Referred Person to join will count towards a Stake Wall St Referral Reward.
First Funding Rewards
Stake Rewards allows new and existing unfunded Stake Wall St Users with an individual account to earn a Reward by funding their Stake Wall St account (Wall St Funding Reward) for the first time. In some cases, we may allow existing Wall St Users to earn a Reward for subsequent fundings of their Stake Wall St Account. If you elect to claim your Reward, you agree to these Wall St Rewards T&Cs, which are in addition to the general Stake Terms and Conditions.
The Stake Wall St User will be rewarded with the Reward(s) outlined in the Promotion Details.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to qualify for a Wall St Funding Reward you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Have created a registered individual Stake account (non-individual accounts such as SMSF trust, SMSF individual, company and minor accounts are not eligible for Wall St Funding Rewards), including a verified email address, that has been approved for funding by Stake.
- Such account has not yet been funded (unless otherwise stated in the promotion offer); and
- For first Wall St Funding Rewards, make a Qualified Funding of your Stake Wall St account within 24 hours of creating your Stake Wall St account.
Wall St Funding Rewards of free stock for first funding are only available to be claimed within 24 hours from when you first create your Stake Wall St account on the Stake App or Website after your Stake account is approved, unless a different period is stated in the Promotion Details. If you do not fund your Stake Wall St account within 24 hours of creating your Stake Wall St account, or you elect not to claim your Reward, you will no longer be eligible to participate in the Wall St Funding Reward unless you are invited to participate in a separate promotional offer.
If you meet the eligibility criteria for the Wall St Funding Reward above, you will be asked to claim your Reward after initiating your eligible funding through the Stake App or Website.
Restrictions
Customers are not eligible to set up multiple accounts to claim Wall St Funding Rewards. Only one claim of a Wall St Funding Reward can be made per person per offer.
Portfolio Transfer Rewards
Stake Rewards allows Stake Wall St Users to earn a free stock when they complete a full US portfolio transfer to Stake (Portfolio Transfer Reward). The free stock is Dropbox Inc (DBX), however this may change from time to time, as communicated by Stake in any applicable promotional material.
Eligibility Criteria for Portfolio Transfer Reward
In order to qualify for a Portfolio Transfer Reward, Stake Users must:
- Have an existing, registered Stake Wall St account;
- Have not yet completed a portfolio transfer into Stake Wall St; and
- Complete a single transfer of your full portfolio of US listed securities worth at least a total of US$500 (unless specified otherwise) from a third party provider to Stake;
(a Transfer).
Once the Stake User has met all of the above eligibility criteria and successfully made a Transfer, with the transferred portfolio appearing in the user’s Stake Wall St account, then the Stake User will be offered the applicable Portfolio Transfer Reward.
Limitations
Portfolio Transfer Reward is only applicable to first time transfers and can only be claimed by Stake Users once.
Portfolio Transfer Reward is only applicable to transfers of portfolios of US listed securities that have a total value of at least US$500 (unless specified otherwise). The value of the portfolio shall be determined by the market value at the time of completion of the transfer on Stake Wall St. Stake may choose to grant a Portfolio Transfer Reward to portfolios worth less than US$500 in its sole discretion.
General Terms
Changes to Rewards
The scope, variety and type of services and products that you may obtain by redeeming Stake Rewards can change at any time. Via promotional offers, we may offer certain Stake Users or new customers different or additional Rewards that are subject to these Wall St Rewards T&Cs. Customers are only eligible to redeem such Rewards where they have been offered to participate directly by Stake. Stake in its sole discretion will determine eligibility for any given Reward. Rewards are non-transferable.
Stake Users are not precluded from earning multiple Stake Rewards under these Wall St Rewards T&Cs.
Migration of Unclaimed Stake Rewards
Stake may migrate any earned but unclaimed Reward to its current or any successor reward program, at any time, in whole or in part. A migrated Reward will be issued and claimable in accordance with the terms of the program it is migrated to.
Expiry of Rewards
Unless otherwise specified in the applicable Promotion Details, a Reward must be claimed by the customer within 12 months after the date on which it is earned. If a valid claim is not submitted within that period, the Reward may expire and will no longer be available to the customer, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
Stake may also expire any Reward that remains unclaimed, including a reward earned under a previous rewards program, by giving the customer reasonable notice.
Restrictions
Stake Rewards may not be earned by creating multiple Stake Accounts. Stake Rewards accrued in separate Stake accounts may not be combined into one Stake account.

Implications of Owning stock
Owning a share in a business comes with fluctuations in price. Share prices and exchange rates fluctuate daily and shares can be a volatile asset. The value of the selected security may fall after it is acquired. The Eligible Securities are in no way recommendations and Stake does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. We recommend that you do your own research and consider your own financial needs, objectives and circumstances before making any investment decisions.
Tax Implications
You may have tax liabilities, including capital gains tax on the entire value of the share when sold. This is dependent on your personal circumstances and you should seek advice from a tax professional. There may be other applicable taxes to consider.
You are responsible for any tax consequences, if any, that may result from your redemption or use of Stake Rewards.
No Affiliation
Stake and its employees are not affiliated with any company or issuer whose stock may be part of Stake Rewards and are not affiliated with any exchange that the stock may be listed or traded on.
Severability
If any provision in these terms is held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Termination
Stake may suspend or terminate in whole or in part the Stake Rewards program or a user’s ability to participate in Stake Rewards at any time for any reason. We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Rewards if we notice any activity we believe is abusive, contrary to Stake’s brand values, fraudulent or in violation of the Stake Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Wall St Rewards T&Cs are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the New South Wales Courts. In New Zealand, they are subject to the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
Updates to the terms
We can update these Wall St Rewards T&Cs at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Stake website & app which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in Stake Rewards after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
