What is the VanEck MSCI International Value ETF (VLUE)?
Everyone likes getting something at a discount. Access a world of value with VLUE ETF.
Value investing is based on identifying companies whose price seems to understate their intrinsic value.
VLUE gives you a portfolio of 250 international companies that are selected for their ‘enhanced’ value, relative to their peers as measured by:
Price to book value
Price to forward earnings
Enterprise value to cash flow from operations
The index VLUE tracks is also designed to avoid a portfolio that is overly dominated by one or more sectors and also avoids ‘value traps’.
A value trap is where a company may appear to be a ‘bargain’ but is actually trading at a discount for good reason and its share price is unlikely to improve.
