Performance inclusions and exclusions
What’s included in my performance?
Your performance chart gives you a complete picture of your investment returns for the time period you select. It includes:
- Starting and ending value: The total worth of your portfolio at the beginning and end of the period.
- Net investments: the difference between the investments acquired and disposed of in the period.
- Acquisitions: Any investments added to your portfolio (e.g. buys or share transfers in).
- Disposals: Any investments taken out of your portfolio (e.g. sells or share transfers out).
What's excluded from my performance?
- Brokerage fees, taxes or other costs: The cost of executing trades, currency conversion (FX) fees, capital gains tax, dividend withholding tax, or any other administrative fees.
- Cash balances: Any cash you’re holding in your Stake account is excluded. That will appear in your buying power.
- Dividends: This will be reflected in your buying power.
Performance chart is in Beta, with access rolling out gradually as we fine-tune the experience.
Your performance chart is for general information only. It shouldn’t be the sole basis for your investment decisions. Values may vary over time, and your actual returns may differ from those shown. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
