Mr. Cooper Group Inc. provides servicing, origination and transaction-based services related to single-family residences throughout the United States with operations under its primary brands: Mr. Cooper, Xome, and Rushmore Servicing. It is a home loan servicer focused on delivering a variety of servicing and lending products, services, and technologies. It provides technology and data-enhanced solutions to homebuyers, home sellers, real estate agents and mortgage companies. Its Servicing segment performs operational activities on behalf of investors or owners of the underlying mortgages and mortgage servicing rights, including collecting and disbursing borrower payments, investor reporting, customer service, and modifying loans. Its Originations segment originates residential mortgage loans through its direct-to-consumer channel, which provides refinance options for its existing customers, and through its correspondent channel, which purchases or funds loans from mortgage bankers.
