AMETEK, Inc. is a global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of niche markets. Its segments include Electronic Instruments Group (EIG) and Electromechanical Group (EMG). The EIG segment designs and manufactures advanced instruments for the process, power and industrial, and aerospace markets. It provides a range of instruments for research and laboratory equipment, ultra-precision manufacturing and metrology, optics, medical, and test and measurement markets. EMG designs and manufactures engineered medical components and devices, automation solutions, thermal management systems, specialty metals and electrical interconnects. It also provides three-dimensional measurement and imaging solutions, including portable measurement arms, laser scanners and trackers, software solutions, and comprehensive service offerings. It is also engaged in instrumentation businesses that design and manufacture solutions for demanding industrial and scientific applications.
