About EDF
Virtus Stone Harbor Emerging Markets Income Fund (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end, management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to maximize total return, which consists of income on its investments and capital appreciation. The Fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in emerging markets securities. The Fund's investments may include, among other things, sovereign debt obligations, corporate debt securities, structured notes, convertible securities, securities issued by supranational organizations, floating rate commercial loans, securitized loan participations, restricted securities, non-United States currencies, currency forward contracts and other foreign currency transactions, and derivatives related to or referencing these types of securities and instruments. Its holdings may range in maturity from overnight to 30 years or more. Its investment adviser is Virtus Investment Advisers, LLC.
