Agenus Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on discovering and developing immunotherapies for cancer and infectious disease. The Company's primary business is immuno-oncology, which is advancing antibody-based programs to activate innate and adaptive immunity, overcome tumor immune evasion and expand the population of patients from immunotherapy. Its lead clinical program is botensilimab, alone and in combination with balstilimab, is a clinical-stage immuno-oncology asset which may be used as standalone agents or be complimentary to botensilimab plus balstilimab. Its internal discovery and translation platforms support target identification, antibody generation, biomarker analysis, and candidate selection. The Company's clinical and preclinical portfolio include agents directed to CTLA-4, PD-1, CD137, CD73/TGF-beta, ILT2, LAG-3, TIM-3, and TIGIT, all of which remain as proprietary assets of Agenus.
