The Company provides its franchisees with a comprehensive system of business training, stylist education, site approval, lease negotiation, professional marketing, promotion and advertising programs. The Company operates through two segments, which include Franchise salons and Company-owned salons. The franchise salons segment offers quality, convenient and value-priced hair care and beauty services and retail products, which include Supercuts, SmartStyle, Cost Cutters, First Choice Haircutters, Roosters, and Magicuts concepts. The Company-owned salons segment offers quality, convenient and value-priced hair care and beauty services and retail products. Supercuts, Cost Cutters and Holiday Hair operating in the United States are generally within the company-owned salons segment.
