The Company operates through three segments, which include Specialty Property and Casualty, Workers Compensation Insurance and Segregated Portfolio Cell Reinsurance. Its Specialty Property and Casualty segment focuses on medical professional liability insurance and medical technology liability insurance. Its Workers Compensation Insurance segment offers workers compensation products in 19 core states in the East, South and Midwest regions of the continental United States. Its Segregated Portfolio Cell Reinsurance segment focuses on Segregated portfolio cell (SPCs) at Inova Re and Eastern Re, its Cayman Islands SPC operations. The Company’s insurance subsidiaries provide medical professional liability insurance, liability insurance for medical technology and life sciences risks and workers compensation insurance.
