About KTF

DWS Municipal Income Trust (the Fund) is a closed-end, diversified management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide a high level of current income exempt from federal income tax. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the Fund's net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, will be invested in municipal securities. The Fund principally invests in investment-grade tax-exempt municipal securities or unrated municipal securities and invests up to 20% of its total assets in high-yield municipal securities that are below investment grade or unrated municipal securities. The Fund may not invest more than 20% of its net assets in unrated municipal securities. The Fund invests in various states, such as Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and California. The Fund's investment advisor is DWS Investment Management Americas, Inc.
