About GVI
iShares Intermediate Government/Credit Bond ETF (the Fund), formerly iShares Barclays Intermediate Government/Credit Bond Fund, is an exchange-traded fund (ETF). The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the investment grade credit sector of the United States bond market and the total United States Treasury market as defined by the Barclays Capital U.S. Intermediate Government/Credit Bond Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of United States dollar-denominated United States Treasuries, government-related and investment-grade United States corporate securities that have a remaining maturity of greater than or equal to one year and less than 10 years. Securities have $250 million or more of outstanding face value, and must be fixed-rate and non-convertible. The Fund’s investment advisor is BlackRock Fund Advisors.
