EMCORE Corporation is a provider of inertial navigation solutions to the aerospace and defense markets. The Company leverages Photonic Integrated Chip (PIC), Quartz Micro Electro-Mechanical System (QMEMS), and Lithium Niobate chip-level technology to deliver component and system-level products across its end-market applications. It has one reporting segment, Inertial Navigation, whose product technology categories include fiber optic gyroscope (FOG), QMEMS, and ring laser gyro (RLG). Its FOG products range from tactical to navigation grade gyros, inertial measurement units (IMU) and inertial navigation systems (INS). Its QMEMS gyroscopes, accelerometers, IMUs, and INS products deliver size, weight, and power (SWaP) performance. Its line of INS includes the advanced RLG-based products of Space and Navigation (S&N). The Company has vertically-integrated manufacturing capability at its facilities in Budd Lake, New Jersey; Concord, California, and Tinley Park, Illinois.
