About BMEZ
BlackRock Health Sciences Term Trust (the Trust) is a closed-end management investment company. The Trust’s investment objectives are to provide total return and income primarily through long-term capital appreciation. The Trust invests at least 80% of its total assets in equity securities of companies principally engaged in the health sciences group of industries and equity derivatives with exposure to the health sciences group of industries. The Trust focuses on small and mid-sized healthcare companies.It may also invest in companies whose products or services relate to the growth or survival of animals and plants. The Trust invests primarily in equity securities, including common stocks, preferred stocks, convertible securities, warrants and depositary receipts, health sciences companies and limited partnership interests in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) that own hospitals. The Trust’s investment adviser is BlackRock Advisors, LLC.
