About AEF
abrdn Emerging Markets Equity Income Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified closed-end, management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek to provide both current income and long-term capital appreciation. The Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in emerging markets equity securities. The Fund invests in a range of sectors, including information technology, financials, consumer discretionary, materials, industrials, communication services, energy, consumer staples, utilities, real estate, health care, and short-term investment. The Fund's investment adviser is abrdn Investments Limited. abrdn Investments Limited is an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of abrdn plc.
