IPO Watch | Taiton Resources

Taiton Resources has a portfolio of early-stage mineral projects in South Australia and Western Australia.

The company’s ASX listing raised $10m for a range of exploration activities, potential further acquisitions and general business expenses. Taiton Resources is focused on gold and multiple commodities deposits across Australia.

The Highway Project in South Australia’s Gawler Range is the most advanced venture. Initial work suggests the Merino Prospect has potential for iron, copper and gold in this area. Surveys have also revealed sections of silver, lead and zinc on the property. The Stuart Highway cuts through the property at around 186km north of Port Augusta.

The Challenger West Project lies around 190km northwest of the Highway Project. Its proximity to the previously operating Challenger Gold Mine and existing data give Taiton confidence for a new discovery. The company acquired the last new tenements available in this region.

Taiton has identified a prospective target at Lake Barlee, located in the goldfields of Western Australia’s Yilgarn Craton. Earlier owners also completed initial studies on the tenements for uranium and potash, which are associated with the patches of flat salt lake found there.

Taiton Resources is available to trade on Stake under the ticker T88.
