Stake Black Free Trial Promotion Terms and Conditions

Overview

The ‘Stake Black Free Trial’ Promotion is run by Stakeshop Pty Ltd (‘Stake’). The promotion provides existing Stake customers with the option to access Stake Black, Stake’s pro membership with additional trading tools, for free for one (1) month (‘Promotion’).

Promotion Period

The Promotion will commence on 9:00 am, 28 November 2022 and end on 11:59 pm, 28 February 2023 (NZDT).

Eligibility Criteria

For existing Stake Black customers, you must meet all of the following to qualify for this Promotion:

1. Have an existing Stake Black membership as at the commencement of the Promotion Period;
2. Enter your payment details before your next Stake Black billing date within the Promotion Period. You can do this by going to the Profile screen, selecting Stake Black and following the prompts.

For Stake customers that do not have Stake Black, you must meet all of the following to qualify for this Promotion:

1. Must not have an existing Stake Black membership as at the commencment of the Promotion Period;
2. Sign up for a Stake Black membership during the Promotion Period; and
3. Provide your payment details. Your payment method will not be charged at the end of the free trial if you cancel your Stake Black membership at any time prior to the end of the 1 month free trial period.

Reward

If eligible, you will be granted access to Stake Black for 1 month from the date you made the election/signed up. If you elect to use Stake Black, the Stake Black Terms and Conditions apply.

Canceling a Free Trial

You may cancel your free trial at any time during the 1 month free trial period and your payment method will not be charged. Once you cancel your free trial, you will lose access to the trial Stake Black membership immediately. 

Any trade orders submitted during the free trial period at a reduced brokerage rate will be honoured, regardless of when the order executes.

Ongoing Stake Black Membership

If you do not cancel your free trial to your Stake Black membership during the 1 month free trial period, your payment method will automatically be charged the Stake Black account fee at the frequency initially selected. 

Restrictions

The Promotion is available to New Zealand customers only. An individual may only redeem a free trial pursuant to this Promotion once. Customers are not eligible to set up multiple accounts to claim more than one free trial.

Termination and Changes

Stake may suspend or terminate the Promotion or a user’s ability to participate at any time for any reason. We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove a reward if we notice any activity we believe is abusive, contrary to Stake’s brand values, fraudulent or in violation of the Stake Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to review and investigate activities and to suspend accounts or modify rewards in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.

Severability

If any provision in these terms is held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Applicable Law

These terms are governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

Updates to the terms

We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Stake website and app which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Promotion after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
