Its primary area of operation is the Mid-Continent region in Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas. Its operations are the production, development and acquisition of hydrocarbon resources. It holds interests in about 1,465 gross (848 net) producing wells, approximately 956 of which it operates, and 561,831 gross (371,748 net) total acres under lease. Its productive wells consist of wells that are producing hydrocarbons. It sells its oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids to a variety of customers, including oil and natural gas companies and trading and energy marketing companies. Its interests in the Mid-Continent included 1,465 gross (848 net) producing wells. The interests are aggregated across the Mississippian Lime, Meramec and Cherokee formations. Its subsidiaries include SandRidge Holdings, Inc., SandRidge Realty, LLC and others.
