About LEO
BNY Mellon Strategic Municipals, Inc. (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to maximize current income exempt from federal income tax to the extent consistent with the preservation of capital. Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in municipal obligations, the income from which is exempt from federal personal income tax. Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 50% of its net assets in municipal bonds considered investment grade or the unrated equivalent as determined by BNY Mellon Investment Adviser, Inc. in the case of bonds, and in the two categories or the unrated equivalent as determined by the Adviser in the case of short-term obligations having or deemed to have maturities of less than one year. BNY Mellon Investment Adviser, Inc. (the Adviser) serves as the Fund’s investment adviser.
