About HQL
abrdn Life Sciences Investors (the Fund) is a non-diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to seek long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in equity and related securities of the United States and foreign companies principally engaged in the development, production or distribution of products or services related to scientific advances in life sciences (including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, managed healthcare and medical equipment, hospitals, healthcare information technology and services, devices, supplies and other healthcare-related sub-sectors), agriculture and environmental management (Life Sciences Companies). The Fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in securities of foreign issuers, expected to be located primarily in Western Europe, Canada and Japan, and securities of United States issuers that are traded primarily in foreign markets. The Fund’s investment adviser is abrdn Inc.
