It operates through three segments: Scrap Metal Recycling, Hauling, and Other. It collects, classifies, and processes appliances, construction materials, end-of-life vehicles, boats, and industrial machinery. Its main product is ferrous metal, which is used in the recycling and production of finished steel. It is categorized into heavy melting steel, plate and structural, and shredded scrap, with various grades of each of those categorizations based on the content, size and consistency of the metal. It also processes nonferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, stainless steel, nickel, brass, titanium, lead, alloys and others. It also offers ScrapApp.com, a platform for buying end-of-life vehicles directly from individuals wishing to sell their cars, rather than from third parties.
