The Company’s lead program and focus is on the development of the regimen of bemnifosbuvir, a nucleotide analog polymerase inhibitor, and ruzasvir, an investigational, potent, small-molecule inhibitor of hepatitis C virus (HCV) non-structural protein 5A (NS5A), an essential protein for HCV replication. Bemnifosbuvir is an investigational, orally administered guanosine nucleotide double prodrug which targets the HCV non-structural protein 5B (NS5B) RNA-dependent RNA polymerase and inhibits HCV replication.
