Is now the right time to dive into a newly listed lithium explorer? Oceana Lithium which lists today under the ticker $OCN is hoping so.

Despite the price of lithium stabilising, lithium stocks have continued to fall with the top 10 by market cap all having fallen by over 20% this month.

But with lithium carbonate prices up over 400% in 12 months to date, it’s no wonder some investors are circling around Oceana’s IPO, including Tesla supplier Yahua International.

Oceana will allocate more than 50% of the funds raised to its flagship Solonopole project in Brazil, where the company has uncovered high-grade lithium sampling on the surface, but has yet to put boots on the ground.
