Stake UK Closure

As of today, 15th November 2024, all eligible customers, who have not opted-out, will have had their accounts transferred to Freetrade Limited. Please refer to your recent emails from Stake regarding the status of your account.

If your account was transferred to Freetrade, you can now reach out directly to Freetrade to manage your assets and any cash balances in your account. Please note, if your W-8BEN is invalid or expired, your equities may be liquidated and held in cash at Freetrade.

If you have opted-out of the transfer, we have sold down your assets and will be transferring remaining balances (greater than US$10) to you. Funds should arrive in your specified account by late next week. As previously mentioned, if your cash balance is below US$10 it will not be transferred or recoupable by you and your account will be closed today.

If your account was not eligible to be transferred, and you have greater than US$10 in assets, these assets will be held with our broker-dealer DriveWealth LLC. DriveWealth will continue to manage your assets until you choose to withdraw them. You can do this by emailing Drivewealth at transitions@drivewealth.com and they will action your request within 5 business days. You can also access any tax and reporting documents via their client login portal here with your account number. Please note, if your W-8BEN is invalid or expired, your equities may be liquidated and held in cash at Drivewealth.

Please note, any customer not being transferred to Freetrade with less than US$10 of assets will have their assets sold down and any remaining cash will not be recoupable. Your account will be closed on 15 November 2024.
