Trade Teaser Competition Terms and Conditions

Overview

These Terms and Conditions apply to Stake's 'Trade Teaser' in the weekly 'The Wrap' newsletter (the Competition). By participating in the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Competition terms and conditions, in addition to Stake's general Terms and Conditions.

Promoter

In Australia and New Zealand, the promoter is Stakeshop Pty Ltd (ACN 610105505) (Stake) C/O BDO, Level 11, 1 Margaret Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000. In the United Kingdom, the promoter is Hellostake Ltd (Company No. 11676409) of 85 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 7LT, United Kingdom.

Promotional Period

This is an ongoing promotion that Stake makes available to subscribers who receive Stake's weekly newsletter 'The Wrap'. The promotional period starts each week on Thursday when Stake sends 'The Wrap' via email and ends at 11:59pm AEST the following Wednesday.

Eligibility

To be eligible to enter the Competition, you must receive Stake's 'The Wrap' email newsletter for the applicable week and be over 18 years of age. Only one (1) entry per person is allowed. If you win the Competition, you must have a Stake Wall St account to redeem the prize.

How to Enter

Participants can enter the Competition by sending a reply email to 'The Wrap' (support@hellostake.com) stating the answer to that week's 'Trade Teaser' question.

Winner Selection & Notification

The first three (3) individuals that reply to 'The Wrap' with the correct answer to the 'Trade Teaser' question will be selected as the winners of the Competition for that week. The Stake Customer Success Team will identify the winners and contact them directly by email to notify them that they have won and explain how to claim the prize. Selection of the winners by Stake is final and not subject to review.

The Prize

The prize is a 50% rebate of the applicable FX fees for the winners' next deposit funding on the Stake platform (Prize). There are three (3) Prizes that can be won each week. The Prize must be used within one (1) calendar month of Stake notifying the winner that they have won the Prize. If you win multiple Prizes, only one Prize can be used per deposit funding i.e. you cannot apply two Prizes to a single funding to receive a 100% rebate of the applicable FX fees.

To claim the rebate, winners must provide proof of their deposit (e.g. bank transfer receipt) for Stake to be able to rebate the FX fees to the winners' Stake account. The Prize is not transferrable and is not redeemable for cash.

Limitation of Liability

Stake will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage, whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct, in connection with this Competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be lawfully excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the extent legally permissible).

This promotion does not constitute financial advice nor a recommendation to invest in certain financial products. Owning a share in a company comes with fluctuations in price and shares can be volatile assets. We recommend that you do your own research and consider your own financial needs, objectives and circumstances before making any investment decisions.

General

Stake may suspend or terminate the Competition or a user’s ability to participate in the Competition at any time for any reason. The scope, variety and type of prizes that you may win may also be changed. We reserve the right to review and investigate activities related to the Competition and to suspend accounts or modify prizes at our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.

If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These Competition terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

We can update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Stake website and app, which are effective on posting. Continued participation in the applicable Competition after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
