SMS Mobile Verification
To keep your account as secure as possible, we have added SMS mobile security. A security code is sent to your mobile device when you perform account actions where verification is required for account changes.
If you are having trouble receiving your security code via SMS, then please click the resend code button on the code entry screen. You might have to wait for the 30-second counter to finish counting down before the button shows, this is to allow time for you to receive the SMS code.
This will open up a pop-up where you can choose to resend the code via Whatsapp, which is helpful if you only have internet connection and not mobile service. You have the ability to enter a different mobile number on both the pop-up or on the 'Profile' page.
If you don't receive the code via Whatsapp, you can also receive it via a voice call to your device.
What if I cannot use SMS verification?
We will continue to support 2FA apps (Device MFA) like Authy (previously needed to be enabled via Web - this can now be done in-app). Please note: If you enable Device MFA/TOTP, then your account won’t use SMS verification.
